Wenge (Millettia laurentii), a medium-sized tree to 15m tall that produces dark brown to purplish-black, mostly straight-grained wood with an interesting grain. The wood is hard and weatherproof and is often used in furniture making, for musical instruments and woodturning work.

Easy to clean with a damp cloth. Our hardwood handles are very popular and provide a great contrast to stainless steel machines and worktops.
